Who am i?

I’m Taylor. Not a tourist, but a traveler.

Tourists get a bad rap from the locals. Tourists are loud and obnoxious, refuse to learn the culture and traditions, and they also fail to see during their vacations the realities of a local’s daily life amidst their false luxury.

My name is Taylor, and I am happy to say that during my time abroad, I have been honored to be accepted a bit differently than a common tourist, and make myself known to be more receptive to language, food, and courtesies while abroad. Personally, I enjoy the discomfort. Not only does it make the adjustments more realistic, but it brings valuable life advice for understanding one’s different perspective.

Why Is This Important?

For any current traveler or soon-to-be traveler, it is important to take on the advice and opinions of the many that came before you, and those that are participating during the same time as you. The world is an ever-changing place, but most destinations in the world seem to hold a valuable set of customs or realities, that once understood, can revolutionize your travels.
